It kept my attention throughout the book.and now I am excited to find out if she will marry the prince, but I feel her troubles are just beginnig
It was an interesting read
Great story that I couldn't put down. Was just a bit confused in the beginning with the way she describes new characters and places and their role in the story. Otherwise rearly enjoying the story.
The story was not what I had expected. The plot was described in one way, but it turned out to be something else. The characters seemed wooden and not well developed. I felt it was very slow moving and dull. I can not recommend this book.
Love her books lots of details and characters are amazing
An excellent rollicking read! I picked up this book for my and thoroughly enjoyed its freshness and humor. There is enough mystery to keep the reader guessing and lay the scene for future installments in the series. The characters are endearing and realistic for a fantasy fiction novel. A great cliff hanger ending and I am looking forward to the next book in the series.
This was a different genre than I typically read, but a friend recommended it - glad she did. I started the book on a long International flight and couldn't stop reading. Love Adele, who travels a long way during the book and proves she is stronger than she thought she was. She finds herself in some tough situations and needs to figure out who to trust. The plot line and characters are fun to figure out - wizards, thrones, a complicated family power struggle, a mysterious Empress. I've just started reading it a second time and am picking up on lots of details I missed the first time through. An entertaining read.
